Surat: In a tragic incident, seven family members, including three toddlers, committed mass suicide in Adajan, Surat on Saturday. The incident has sent shock waves among the residents in Surat as seven of the family members, including four adults and three children, committed mass suicide.
The incident occurred at Siddeshwar Apartment in Palanpur Patia in Adajan. Manish Solanki gave poison to the family members, including his wife, mother, father, and three children, and later committed suicide by hanging himself in his apartment.
The Adajan police and senior police officers rushed to the spot following the incident reported to the police by the resident. The incident has sent shock waves among the community in Palanpur Patia.
The police shifted the dead bodies to the New Civil Hospital (NCH) for post mortem to know the cause of the death. The police officials have started questioning the neighbors and other residents in the area to know more about the family and their financial condition.
